EPC SouthTrail Plaza Groundbreaking Ceremony
EPC Capital, a premier real estate and private equity investment firm, is pleased to announce the official construction of EPC SouthTrail Plaza, the newest retail and professional plaza on Calgary Trail and Whitemud Drive.
Construction was celebrated with a ground breaking ceremony on October 26, 2018. The development team brought together with tenants, local businesses, industry professional, and local dignitaries Councillor Michael Walters and MLA Lone Dach, to review the site and the development plans.
“I’d like to thank EPC Capital for bringing this beautiful development to this area. Business and entrepreneurs are the foundation of Edmonton, and this is a project for Edmonton business, built by entrepreneurs – it is great to see,” said Councillor Micheal Walters at the ceremony.
About the Development:
EPC SouthTrail Plaza will be the first building in Edmonton with a rooftop playground for the tenant Bright Horizon’s Daycare. This will be the second, one-of-a-kind rooftop playground completed by EPC Capital. The first recently opened its doors in Spruce Grove at EPC Spruce Village Centre.
A multinational food franchise company will be making their debut in the Edmonton market with a drive thru at EPC Southtrail plaza as their pilot location.
The 56,309 SF complex includes three buildings, two of which are two storey.
Reserved tenancies confirm that at least three new restaurants, two with patios, will be opening, along with medical, retailers, and practitioners.
The retail and professional centre will service communities reaching to the corners of the city with near direct access off Edmonton’s arterial roadways, Calgary Trail and Whitemud Drive.
